English as a Second Language

Crowder College Adult Education and Literacy offers English as a Second Language classes in several communities. Classes are built around real-life situations with content of interest to adult learners; examples include: job applications, banking, parent/teacher meetings, and grocery shopping. Participants develop the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills they need to communicate effectively in English. A variety of teaching methods are used including video, audio, computer, and group lessons.
Classes in Noel and Monett may have childcare available.
