GED Scholarships

Eligibility:
Any student who passed the G.E.D. in Missouri, with a minimum score of 2900, is eligible for this scholarship. The initial scholarship award must be used within the first year following completion of the G.E.D. test.

Renewal: Eligible students must maintain and successfully complete full-time status with a minimum 3.0 g.p.a. each semester.


Amount: G.E.D. scholarship awards are $600 per semester. Scholarships will be applied to standard educational fees.

Students who pass the G.E.D. in Missouri with a score lower than the scholarship standard are eligible for a three-credit-hour, in-district, tuition waiver. This is a non-renewable tuition waiver. This award must be used within the first year following completion of G.E.D. test.

In-District: If you pay personal property taxes to one of the following school districts, "in-district" rates will apply. Diamond, East Newton, McDonald County, Neosho and Seneca. All other Missouri residents will be charged the "Out of District" tuition rates.
